My first reaction, which is probably very cynical of me, was “I don’t know if I believe them”. It wouldn’t be the first time the American Government had lied about the Middle East.
We haven’t seen him anywhere for 10 years, how is this possible with the “intelligence” and power that the USA has?
The last three years has seen the world become depressed and I think a lot of people are fed up with the way the big powers are being governed. Could it be that this has been fabricated in order to make people feel a bit better?
I’m watching BBC news as I write this and they have just informed us that “Bin Laden’s body has been buried at sea”. Convenient, no?

Anyway, assuming I’m a cynical bastard, this is good news for the war on terrorism. On the other hand, this news could lead to more attacks and this is never good news.
Let’s just hope that there are no reactionary attacks from Al Qaeda..and that we get another bank holiday in celebration.
